Meet our alter egos “The Art Tartz”. The Tartz (lemon and lime of course) write for Mark Lipinski’s Quilter’s Home Magazine. Creative Artwork Collaborating as "Goddess Within Designs," Debbie Bates and Liz Kettle create, teach and design using fabrics, fibers and mixed media. Their goals are to draw forth and express the weathered, wise and unique artistic visions within themselves as well as guiding all women to discover the creative passions that dwell in their soul.

The duo encourages their students to use creativity as a conduit of self-expression that can not be copied from a pattern. They believe that one needs only to seek, try and ask "what if?" to undertake the journey to discover their unique inner artist. Every woman has a personal mythology to be told: in her voice, with her hands, from her soul. Debbie and Liz would be honored to walk a while with others on this journey.
